Ingredients
4 to 6 apples large tart as Granny Smith or Braeburn
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4A teaspoon ground ginger
Topping
1 / 2 cup all-purpose flour
3 / 4 cup brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats Old style
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 / 2 cup butter, cut into chunks

Getting There
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Peel, core and cut apples and place In a large bowl. Mix flour, white sugar and cinnamon and place in lightly greased baking dish with butter.
Combine all the remaining Add dry ingredients and mix butter with 2 knives or a pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle this over apples and mix until apples are completely covered. Place in a deep dish baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for at least 30 minutes until apples are tender.
